Osiris
Egyptian mythology
Osiris is murdered, dismembered, and scattered by Set (the Shadow brother). Isis (the Anima) reassembles him. He is reborn as lord of the underworld, not of the living world, but of the depth world. Death doesn't return you to the old life. It gives you sovereignty over the inner world.
You don't come back as who you were. You come back as lord of a different kingdom: the inner one.
The pattern underneath: Individuation. The lifelong process of becoming who you actually are: not who your parents wanted, not who society shaped, but the person your whole self is trying to become.
